As the proverbial African adage goes, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” In order for RH Bophelo to successfully transform the healthcare sector and make quality healthcare accessible to all South Africans, we need a team of individuals who have the necessary skills, knowledge and experience. The more our team grows, the more effective we will be in our mission to expand our investment footprint in the sector.
We’d like to welcome Dinao Lerutla (CFA), Refiloe Nkadimeng CA(SA) and Bojane Segooa CA(SA) to the RH Bophelo team. These incredibly successful and pioneering women have wide-ranging experience and are well-positioned in the market to implement the Company’s strategy and vision. As expressed by RHB’s CFO Dion Mhlaba, “The new members bring a wealth of industry experience; they are dedicated, smart and will be able to work with management to deliver on the commitments made on growth and access. We are lucky to have such a powerhouse of leaders, fresh minds joining the team”.
Getting to know the new directors
Dinao Lerutla (CFA)
Equipped with 17 years’ experience in the corporate and investment banking space, Dinao Lerutla has joined RH Bophelo’s audit committee and investment committee. She is looking forward to working towards achieving to add value to communities in South Africa by ensuring that their healthcare needs are met adequately. “I hope to serve with diligence, to support the objectives of the company, and to ensure that our mandate to all stakeholders of the company is met.” Dinao hopes to use her entrepreneurial acumen and experience to ensure that RHB continues to build “quality earnings, and return value to our stakeholders.”
As a member of RHB’s audit and investment committees, Dinao hopes to lend to the growth of our capacity to make healthcare accessible to a greater proportion of the population. It is very important for her that we find the right balance between addressing the healthcare needs of the communities we serve and growing the value of our investments.

Refiloe Nkadimeng CA(SA)
Refiloe Nkadimeng has vast experience in leading and directing high-performance teams, helping them maintain the overall financial well-being of an organisation. This puts her in the perfect position to serve on RHB’s audit committee. She views her appointment as an opportunity to take part in the development of a sector that is in much need of investment and resources. “I am quite excited to be part of an organisation that is at the forefront of revolutionising the health industry.” Refiloe looks forwards to rolling her sleeves and playing an active role in formulating and refining RHB’s overall strategy. “Growth, wealth creation and social impact are amongst the values that I would like to add to the organisation as it works towards long-term sustainability.”

Bojane Segooa CA(SA)
Bojane Segooa is an award-winning social entrepreneur whose experience makes her the perfect fit for RHB’s social and ethics committee. She is “excited and energised” to be a part of the team. For her, RHB is “a black success story that contributes to economic growth.”
As a CEO of Innovation Africa Holdings, which is a tech start-up, she hopes to connect RHB Bophelo with players in the heath-tech space. “I look forward to increasing awareness around the use of technology to improve RHB and exposing RHB to black-owned health-tech startups in SA.”
